20 markets, endless manual errors

Franke manages a vast product range on a global scale. Every country has its own languages, regulations, and commercial dynamics.

In short: a structural margin of error that slowed down time-to-market and drained resources.

  • Fragmented Data: scattered among departments, Excel files, and static documents.
  • Inconsistent Data: technical and commercial versions that never communicated.
  • Manual Process: producing 20 catalogs meant opening every single file, correcting by hand, and hoping for no typos.
Problem detail
Project objective 1
Centralize to scale.

We didn't just want to "make catalogs". We wanted to build an infrastructure capable of eliminating inconsistencies, automating pagination, and making the process scalable for the future.

Project objective 2
Analyzing the DNA of the data.

We started from the bottom: how does information move? Where does the chain break? We discovered that the problem wasn't a lack of data, but the absence of a method to govern it.

Project objective 3
Zero-Error Pagination.

We implemented On Page® as the single source of truth and connected it directly to InDesign via EasyCatalog. Layouts fed by the database in real-time and auto-generated technical tables. Change a price on the PIM? All 20 catalogs update simultaneously.

The smart workflow (Before vs After)

Update speed

BEFORE: Days of work for every single edit. AFTER: Instant and simultaneous updates.

Data reliability

BEFORE: Constant risk of technical typos and misalignments. AFTER: Drastic reduction in publishing errors.

Corporate collaboration

BEFORE: Isolated departments (Silos) and slow communications. AFTER: Shared, fluid, and trackable process.

Project detail

Today Franke's infrastructure is ready for anything: e-commerce, configurators, brand portals, and new markets. The system is no longer a limit, but a business accelerator.

Data goes in only once: it updates in the management system and reflects everywhere, zeroing out repetitive operations.
